True Dodger Blue

So i went to my first ever Major League Baseball game. Mom and dad are true blue dodger fans and i guess at this early stage in life, so am i. The Advanta suite was awesome (thanks Uncle Ami) but i'd have to say that the Philadelphia fans have got to be the most ignorant and disrespectful fans on the planet. The amount of Boos and obscene gestures that were made towards us were beyond comprehension but beyond the sophomoric behavior, the game was soooo cool. The clapping and cheering and music and food and sounds and sights were all beautiful and just plain old perfect. Can't wait to see more games.

Back in Philly

Finally made it back to Philly after weeks of traveling (Philly to Dallas to Mexico City to Puebla Mexico to Mexico City to Miami to Kingston Jamaica to Miami and then back to Philly) and had a chance to catch up with Liam, Tova and Iris. We shared our summer travel stories, i passed around some tequila from Mexico and we showed off our new 10 month old talents.

Jamaica Man

Yup, that's right - I flew with mom and dad from Mexico City to Miami and then the following day from Miami flew down to Kingston Jamaica with Mom (dad had to fly back to Philly for work). We took the trip down there for Mom's work but it gave me a chance to hang with my new best friend Nicole and to spend some quality time with my mom's mentor Kathy.

Hangin' with Sophia in Mexico City

Mom and dad took me to Sanborne's in San Angel Mexico City to spend a few hours with my buddy from Philadelphia, Sofia. She was in town with her mom and dad (Sarvelia who is from Mexico City and Eric) for her Mexican baptism. We chilled, shared Cherrios and took a walk in the hood.

vrooooom!

So after a long day at the Mexico City Zoo i barely made it out of the park exit before passing out. Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa and of course myself, took the bus back home for an afternoon rest - Taking the bus in Mexico City is soooo awesome. The danger, the sounds, the sights, the smells oh did i mention the sounds? Man i just love it.

Mexico City Zoo

There's no better place to have my first Zoo experience than the Mexico City Zoo. The Zoo was quite nice, the day was beautiful and the animals were really friendly. I'd have to say that the monkeys and the elephants were my favorite.

Mexican Yogurt - Yummmmm!

All i gotta say is that mexicans know how to make yogurt - Yo baby shnow baby - i'd rather have the sugar and red number 12 and yellow number 5 any day. Grandma was especially fond of my love for this sugary goodness and was more than happy to shovel spoon fulls of this tasteful bliss down my throat every morning. yummmm! Thanks Grandma, i love you.

Too Much Tequila?

It is customary in Mexico to drink tequila - hence the blurred vision and blurred hand waving. Wow!

My Mexican Family

So Tia Pilar and my cousin Monica paid me a visit - it was so nice to meet them and i really look forward to seeing them again in October at Gustavo and Molly's wedding.

Mexican Churches

This church is located in the Zocolo in Mexico City - the gold, the detail the awe.

Adults Only!

So mom and dad left me behind in Mexico Çiity with Grandma and Grandpa and they escaped for a 3 day get a way to Acapulco. They stayed at the Las Brisas and from the looks of it, had a really really good time. The views, the pool the works.

Churchin' in Chalula

Yes, on our way back from Puebla we made a short detour to Chalula to see this awesome, and i mean awesome church. It also gave me a chance to take a picture with Tio Tony and Tia Alejandra. They were the best Mexican hosts that anyone could ever ask for.

Puebla is Loco for Balloons

Oh my, i can't get enough of these incredible tall stacks of balloons - i could get lost for days trying to find my through that floating mass. All i gotta say is that Puebla esta loco para balloons - big time.

Puebla Church

We took some time to check out the Church of San Francisco in Puebla which also inspired me to drink my bottle as i took in the sights.

Puebla Mexico Take 1

So we took a 2 day diversion from Mexico City to visit Puebla Mexico (about 2 hours from DF) and our first order of business was to have Comida at a highly recommended restaurant in town - This place had grasshoppers and lamb testicles on the menu, wow! i had my first taste of a real corn tortilla and enjoyed some of the local music. So far Puebla rocks!
