Urban Swimming Continued

Did i mention that my brother Nacho totally wanted to jump in but was afraid he couldn't swim across the pool? He is so silly. I know dogs can swim, duh.

Urban Swimming

So mom and dad decided to that i needed to spend some quality time learning how to swim urban inner-city style. Nothing like a blowup pool on the deck, some water toys and my yellow rubber ducky.

cough cough - choke!

SO Granda thought it was ok for me to eat a cheerio - well, yes grandma one cheerio is just fine but i learned quite quick that multiple cheerios might not be the wisest thing to tackle at such a young age - give me 2 more months and then i'll be slamming those down my throat by the handful.

Guac!

Can someone say guacamole? There's nothing like guac on the fingers to make cleaning up a big old mess a lot fun for my mom and dad - Playing with my food is cool.

Hanging with Grandma

So Grandma and i have been spending a lot of time together this weekend but my brother Nacho has been trying to move in on some of the quality alone time - As you can see in the picture - he is trying to look really really cute but i too can put on a cute face - game on Nacho!

The Grandma Sweater

So we were off to aunti heather's baby shower on Saturday afternoon and mom put me in this really cute summer dress but the real excitement for me was getting the chance to wear Grandma's hand knit sweater (she was obviously working on this sweater while i was still in mom's tummy). Man, this lady can knit a mean sweater let me tell you.

Saturday Swim with Grandma

So grandma Evelyn flew in from Los Angeles this week (can someone say huevos rancheros) and she came to watch me swim at my regular Saturday morning YMCA swim class. I tried to do a triple twist cork screw dive but dad thought it might be best that we hang together as he assisted me around the pool - Next week is the back stroke.

Mother's Day

Mom got breakfast in bed and I got to taste Blackberries. Yum.

Eating Crawfish

Let's just say...I did not partake.

Meeting the Crawfish

Richard (our representative Lousiana man) introduced me to some of the crawfish. Then Eric decided it was time to eat them :(.

Crawfish

We went over to Eric and Meg's house for a good old fashion New Orleans crawfish boil. They were literally shipped from New Orleans. Check it out.

On Dad's Shoulders

You may remember we did this picture once before. Can you tell which on is more recent?

My Uggs

Although there were some warm temperatures for awhile, its back to some chilly evenings. Plus, plus Uggs from my Auntie Bethany are great when I am heading to and from swim class.
